Our dedicated staff is committed to making the promise of “justice for all” a reality for the residents of our region. While we are able to provide quality legal help in critical civil matters to nearly 5000 low income clients annually, there are many others we cannot reach due to insufficient resources. That is why we need your help.

Here are a few ways you can make the promise of justice for all a reality.

Join our Private Attorney Involvement panel.

Work alongside SCCLS’s staff on a variety of pro bono projects including legal clinics and workshops, or provide direct legal representation to individuals in need.

Consider civil legal aid as a career.

SCCLS is a growing legal non-profit looking for dedicated, talented individuals to help advance our mission. Please visit our career opportunities page to see if there is an open position that is right for you.

Become an AmeriCorps volunteer.

SCCLS has been proud to host a statewide AmeriCorps program, as well as AmeriCorps members, in its offices since 2005. AmeriCorps members who work with our staff have a unique opportunity to help low income residents get the legal help they need; to receive training in the legal field; and  to explore the field of public interest.

Make a donation to SCCLS.

The most vulnerable members of our communities rely on the generosity of  individual and corporate donors to help us reach clients that might otherwise go unserved. Your donation makes it possible for more low income residents and elders to get the help they need to resolve critical legal problems.
