AmeriCorps Legal Advocate

KD Bond is returning for a second year as an AmeriCorps Legal Advocate with South Coastal Counties Legal Services (SCCLS). They graduated from Reed College in the spring of 2020. Throughout their college career, they worked as a Youth and Family Advocate with the Immigrant and Refugee Community Organization in Portland directing clients to social support services to ensure those families maintain food and housing security. As an AmeriCorps Advocate, they work on unemployment, housing, and benefits cases under the supervision of Attorney Colleen Hibbert-Kapler.
